Missa Pacem ‘Gloria’ can be found in our blue hymnal at #271. This hymn has strong rhythmic patterns with repeated thematic material. It is very easy to sing and well known at St. Michael Parish.

This is a vibrant and well-known Mass setting. First written in 1984, it is brilliant and full of life accompanied by organ and brass. Parts of this Mass setting were used for the Papal Mass in Washington, DC with Pope Benedict XVI on April 17, 2008. This current revised edition contains the composer's own alterations in compliance with the new translation of the Roman Missal.
